They are concrete ways to invest in children’s education, their growth, and the self-sustainability of our local partners, the Comboni Samaritans of Gulu.

We offer 4 TYPES OF SOLIDARITY GIFTS: by donating a kit, you can receive or send an electronic greeting card and dedicate it to your friends and relatives.



Health Kit

The protection we promote for orphaned and vulnerable children focuses on all aspects of life; however, in Uganda, all healthcare is due by payment, and even a simple illness can become an unsustainable cost for a family.

Children who fall ill are unable to attend school, which affects their performance and also makes it impossible for them to contribute to the family’s needs.

With €5.00, we can help guarantee medical care for children, improving their quality of life and their performance at school.

School Kit

In northern Uganda, as in many other African countries, education is not a right but a privilege accessible to only a limited number of children.

Good Samaritan is committed in supporting around 650 children in their growth and life journey through education and instruction.

With a donation of €10.00, children not only receive pencils, notebooks, and erasers, but also the opportunity to learn to read/write, practice, do their homework.

Start up Tool Kit

Many orphaned or vulnerable young people, supported by Italian families, are attending professional schools and will soon become welders, bricklayers, carpenters, mechanics, hairdressers, seamstresses, and hoteliers. Once they finish their studies, their desire is to start their own businesses and provide for themselves and their families.
Your help is invaluable in giving these eager young people a job opportunity that will help them escape the poverty in which they find themselves.
Your contribution, starting from €15.00, can help us purchase all the tools they need to start a business.

Street children Kit

In Gulu, over two thousand children live on the streets, alone. Orphanages do not take care of them and there are no other adequate facilities to assist them. In response to this emergency, Good Samaritan has set up a reception and rehabilitation center for 12-15 street children.

Thanks to your contribution of €20.00, we will be able to take care of their needs, fears, and traumas, help them to recover their education, and get them back into the classroom. At the same time, we are preparing for their return to their families by supporting to free them from poverty and ensure a stable environment.
